From November 12 to 14, 2025, Yanchang Rubber Company successfully passed the 2025 IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System surveillance audit. This audit strictly adhered to the requirements of the Version 6 IATF Rules effective from January 1, 2025. It was conducted by an expert team from the certification body, with the participation of Cui Hailun, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, Ye Qiang, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager, and heads of various departments.

At the opening meeting, the lead auditor detailed the audit scope, schedule, key changes under the new version of the rules, and audit requirements, committing to strict adherence to commercial confidentiality regulations. Cui Hailun extended a warm welcome to the audit team and reaffirmed the company's steadfast commitment to its quality system development. He emphasized that all employees must use the new rules as a benchmark: firstly, to openly accept audit scrutiny and address shortcomings; secondly, with the Quality Assurance Department coordinating, each department head must take the lead in promptly and accurately providing required documents such as customer files, process instructions, and quality inspection records; thirdly, to ensure comprehensive logistical support for the efficient progression of the audit.

During the audit, the expert team conducted a systematic review of the entire value chain, including supply chain management, product design, production manufacturing, and after-sales service, based on the IATF 16949 standard and the company's operational context. Methods included interviews, on-site observations, and document reviews. Process owners and internal auditors accompanied the team throughout, providing detailed responses and evidence, demonstrating a profound understanding and solid implementation of the quality management system requirements.

Regarding the identified opportunities for improvement, Cui Hailun specifically deployed corrective actions. He set clear requirements: first, to deepen the understanding and application of IATF rules, thoroughly integrating risk-based thinking into the entire process flow of products, information, and value; second, to use methods like Fishbone Diagram and 5-Why analysis to identify root causes, develop targeted corrective and preventive actions, and extend verification horizontally to ensure comprehensive effectiveness of the corrections; third, to strengthen a coordinated supervision and feedback mechanism, ensuring corrections are completed within deadlines and verification reports are submitted to drive continuous system optimization and upgrade.

The expert team affirmed the effectiveness of the company's quality management system and its continuous improvement achievements. They concluded that the IATF 16949 standard is integrated into daily operations, with notable enhancements in areas like risk prevention and process coordination compared to previous years, leading to a successful pass of the surveillance audit.
