Sustainable Development
We promote the discovery and application of sustainable tire raw materials, including green bio-based raw materials and recycled raw materials, and use them in tire manufacturing to reduce the proportion of petroleum-based raw materials. We plan to use 100% of sustainable raw materials by 2050.
①Use of renewable materials
Reduce consumption of non-renewable resources such as fossil raw materials by utilizing biological resources that can be replenished over time.
②Use of recycled materials
Replacement of raw materials by reprocessing and production of waste materials, such as recycled rubber or framework materials produced by recycling and reprocessing of used tires.
③Use of eco-certified materials
Manage the supply chain of sustainable materials and use eco-certified raw materials.
2、Sustainable Technology Application
We develop sustainable application technologies to reduce the environmental impact of the entire product life cycle.
①Optimize tire structure, ensure product performance, reduce product weight, reduce energy material usage, or improve tire wear, improve tire life
②Optimize the tire structure, reduce the product roll resistance, and reduce the energy consumption of the tire to the vehicle
③Reduce the impact on the environment caused by the manufacturing stage, and minimize and deal with the pollutants generated in the manufacturing process of products
The use of waste materials to reprocess production instead of raw materials, such as recycled rubber or skeleton materials produced by recycling and reprocessing of used tires
④Increase the number of tire retreading, increase the number of tire reuse.
